    Proteas are large, exotic flowers with distinctive shapes and textures, often resembling artichokes or sunbursts, symbolizing diversity and courage.

    Fynbos are diverse, hardy shrubs native to South Africa with unique flowers and foliage, symbolizing resilience, diversity, and natural beauty.

  • Pincushions

    Pincushions are round, spiky flowers with a prominent center, often in shades of pink or purple, symbolizing youth, love, and delicate beauty.

  • Greenery

    Greenery refers to various leafy plants or foliage used in floral arrangements, adding texture and freshness while symbolizing growth and harmony.

Flower Care Instructions

  • Trim the stems
    To keep your flowers hydrated, trim the stems at a 45-degree angle, cutting ¾ to 1 inch off the bottom. Do this every 2-3 days so the stems can take in more water, keeping your flowers fresh and vibrant.
  • Use clean water and change regulary
    Dirty water can cause bacteria to grow, shortening the life of your flowers. Refresh with room temperature water and clean your vase every 2-3 days before refilling.
  • Add flower food
    Adding flower food to the water helps prolong freshness by providing the necessary nutrients​. You can also make your own with a mixture of water, sugar, and a touch of bleach.
  • Temperature control
    Keep your flowers in a cool, stable environment, away from drafts, heating or cooling vents, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes. Flowers thrive in cooler temperatures (18-22°C) and avoiding heat sources or fluctuating conditions will help them stay fresh longer.
  • Remove wilting flowers and foliage
    Gently remove any dying or wilting flowers to keep your bouquet fresh . This helps prevent bacteria and mold from spreading.Also remove any leaves that sit in the water, as they can decay and contaminate the water​.
  • Avoid Fruit
    Keep your flowers away from fruit, as ethylene gas released by ripening fruit or decaying plant matter, accelerates the aging of flowers.
  • Mist the petals
    Light misting the petals and leaves can help keep them hydrated in drier environments
